This package provides the C++ source code of an MCA communication library with essential basic functions similar to the Windows communication DLL. Further it contains a simple command line tool to communicate with an MCA. The software uses the FTD2XX library which is based on an unmodified version of libusb. It is intended for Linux systems. MCA-527 Basic State Configurator - Version 2.00.0000

The MCA-527 Basic State Configurator is intended for detector manufacturers who integrate the MCA-527 Micro, Nano or OEM within the detector encasement or for technicians who construct systems with permanently connected detector.
The tool allows to predefine the basic state of the MCA-527 (firmware version 21.00 or higher). The basic state is stored in the EEPROM and is established during power-up or during reset.

Before using this tool, the most suitable parameters for the detector have to be determined with any qualified program (e.g. WinSPEC). After that the parameters can be taken over by this tool.
