Multi Channel Analyser
Our multi channel analysers (MCAs) are portable devices for safeguards, radiation protection and other field and laboratory applications.
The devices have their own batteries and provide power supply to radiation detectors. The spectra are collected autonomously in the memory of the MCA.
It provides laboratory grade nuclear spectrometry on a highly portable platform.
All MCA parameters and functions are controlled by a microcontroller.
A computer is used to setup the MCA-Modul, to display and process the measurement results and to store the data. It can be operated with any standard PC, notebook, netbook, pocket-PC or palmtop computer.
Communication is performed via serial link interface (RS-232C), USB or Ethernet.
The design concept supports the use of the device as a Multi Channel Analyser (MCA), and as a Multi Channel Scaler (MCS). The device can be used with a great variety of detectors such as NaI, HPGe, CdTe, Si, HE-3 etc.
