HV Pulse Technology
GBS Elektronik GmbH is capable to deliver custom made high voltage pulse generators in the range of 1 - 100 kV peak voltage, kW to MW peak power and 0.1 - 10 kW average power. The high voltage pulse technology at GBS orginated from need for pulse generators usable for plasma immersion ion implantation (PIII). But this is not the only application for our pulse generators.
Basically, there are a lot of different principles, according to which High Voltage Pulse Generators can be built. Depending on demands, completely different solutions can be optimum. An overview about possible design principles for HV pulse generators was once worked out in combined work with Forschungszentrum Rossendorf.
The RUP series (Rossendorf Universal Pulse generator) consists of pulse generators which deliver mostly square wave pulses, which can deal with a broad range of load impedances and which pulse parameters (frequency, pulse width, amplitude) are freely adjustable.
Ecopuls names a series of less powerful pulse generator which have a pulse transformer in the output and which are available at moderate prices. For a lot of special applications, customized pulse generators have been built. Further, we offer cusstomized high voltage supplies for special applications. Some of the smaller pulse generator designs as well as the HV supplies are available as OEM version (documented circuit boards without housing). This may be interesting for customers with tight budget as well as for customers which want to integrate HV technology into their own devices.
